Village of Porticcio

Porticcio, the blue city of South Corsica is a beautiful seaside resort which appears as one of the most popular destinations on the island of beauty. Located to the south of Ajaccio, it can be visited all the seasons because the city benefits from an excellent geographical situation making the climate a mild one or generous throughout the year.

The town is a greenery nest which is intended and ideal for the green tourism. Porticcio is full of natural resources with high quality and so very protected. Forest trails will give you fabulous views so as to explore an endemic fauna and flora.

Porticcio is a neighborhood filled with surprise and mystery because it has majestically rare tourists attractions, most of which are still undeveloped. It is the great paradise of nautical entertainment offering fabulous shores to fine sand dunes as well as an emerald-colored water with a beautiful gradient of blue.

This small village of 31.56 km2 has more than 2000 inhabitants, ie 91 inhabitants / km2. Its mysterious side is revealed by the presence of historic squares containing the whole history of the city. The Capitello Tower, for example, is an excellent place to crash in order to live the experiences of the Genoese who once colonized the Corsican lands. The hamlet of Vignale, old 16th century hosts an imposing and strong house tracing the times of the Phoenicians and Phocaeans.
