Cannelle, the historical city

Cannelle Corsica, the historical city: just at the mention of the name of the city, Cannelle already shakes the hearts of tourists who want to start their holidays in a typically rural district where calm and tranquility are reigning. This charming department of Southern Corsica is well isolated from the rest of the world, it does not get itself talked about but however, it emits something powerful that encourages more than one vacationer to come and discover the city.

Cannelle is made of modest houses of stones harmoniously built on a mountain giving a spectacular view over the sea. It is known like the famous hamlet of Centuri, as attractive as any bay of Corsica. The city is undoubtedly the smallest town on the island with only 3.41 square kilometers of surface. Also, it has only about forty inhabitants, fewer of course, but very warm and sociable!
