Sarrola-Carcopino is made up of two charming hamlets nestled on the mountainside, offering a beautiful view of Ajaccio.
In the surrounding area, you can reach one of the highest peaks in the Ajaccio region: Punta Sant' Eliséo at 1271 m. The walk is very beautiful and along the path you can discover magnificent landscapes on both sides. Each hamlet is also guarded by a tower house. Composed of a beautiful group of pink granite houses, narrow streets, vaults and whitewashed walls, Sarrola-Carcopino is also one of the communes in Corsica for its high number of producers. Some are also very famous (cheeses, essential oils, saffron, etc.)
