Sarrola Carcopino is made up of two charming hamlets set on the mountainside, offering a beautiful view of Ajaccio.
In the surrounding area, you can reach one of the highest peaks in the Ajaccio region: Punta Sant Eliseo at 1271 m; the walk is very beautiful and along the path you can discover magnificent landscapes on both sides.
Each hamlet is also guarded by a tower house. Comprised of a beautiful collection of pink granite houses, narrow streets, vaulted ceilings, and whitewashed walls, Sarrola Carcopino is also one of the leading communes in Corsica for its large number of producers. Some are also very renowned (cheeses, essential oils, saffron, etc.).
